1. Acceptance of these terms

Candeeland Theme Park (“Candeeland,” “we,” “us”) operates an indoor family play facility at the Imperial Valley Mall in El Centro, California. By purchasing admission, signing a waiver, booking a party, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and any minor in your care.

2. Admission, pricing & hours

• Admission is sold per child. Accompanying adults enter free with a paid child admission.
• Play sessions, passes and prices are shown at the front desk and on this website, and may change at any time.
• Grip socks are required for everyone entering the play areas and are available for purchase on-site.
• Admission is valid only on the day of purchase and is non-transferable. We do not offer refunds for unused time, early departures, or removal for rule violations.
• Hours are Monday–Saturday 10:00 AM–8:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, and may change for holidays, private events, or capacity limits.

3. Ages & supervision

Candeeland is designed for children ages 1–14. A parent or responsible adult (18+) must remain inside the facility for the entire visit and is responsible for actively supervising the children in their party at all times. Our staff supervise the facility, not individual children.

4. Waiver requirement

Every participant must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian before entering the play areas. Waivers may be signed online in advance or at the front desk, and remain on file for future visits. We reserve the right to deny entry if a valid waiver is not on file.

5. Rules of play & conduct

• Grip socks on, shoes off in all play areas.
• No food, drinks, gum or candy inside the play structures — these belong in the café and party rooms.
• No rough play, climbing up slides, flips, or jewelry, sharp objects, or hard toys in the equipment.
• Please stay home if you or your child is sick, has a fever, or has an open wound or contagious condition.
• Height, age, and capacity limits posted at each attraction must be followed.
• We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who behaves unsafely, aggressively, or disrespectfully toward guests or staff, without refund.

6. Birthday parties & reservations

• Party reservations are confirmed only when a deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable.
• You may reschedule a party once, at no charge, with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability. Changes with less notice or additional reschedules may forfeit the deposit.
• Final guest count and package selections are due 72 hours before the party; the remaining balance is due on the day of the event.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time. Party rooms are reserved for a set block of time, and late arrivals do not extend that block.
• Outside food and beverages are permitted only as described in your package (for example, cake). Alcohol is not permitted.
• Damage to the party room or facility beyond normal use may be charged to the host.

7. Memberships & passes

Monthly memberships and multi-visit passes are issued to a named child, are non-transferable, and may not be shared. Memberships renew monthly until cancelled; to avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date. Memberships are non-refundable, including for unused visits or periods when the facility is closed for holidays, maintenance, or private events. Membership does not guarantee entry when the facility is at capacity.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards are redeemable for admission, memberships, party packages, café items and merchandise at Candeeland El Centro. Consistent with California law, our gift cards carry no expiration date and no dormancy or service fees. Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen cards.

9. Photography, video & media

Candeeland is a public space monitored by security cameras. We may photograph or record general activity in the facility and at events for safety and promotional use. By entering, you consent to appearing in such images. If you prefer that you or your child not be featured in our marketing, tell a team member and we will honor your request.

Guests may take photos and video of their own family and party guests for personal use only. Please be respectful of other families and do not photograph other people’s children.

10. Food, drinks & allergies

Our café prepares and serves food in a shared kitchen space. We cannot guarantee that any item is free of allergens such as nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, or gluten. If anyone in your party has a food allergy, please speak with staff before ordering.

11. Personal property & lost items

Please keep track of your belongings. Candeeland is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Items left behind are held in lost and found for 14 days and then donated or discarded.

12. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

Active play involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. By entering our facility, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume those risks for yourself and any minor in your care, in addition to the terms of the signed waiver.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Candeeland and its owners, employees and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your visit or your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

13. Website use

The content, branding, images and design of this website belong to Candeeland Theme Park and may not be copied or reused without permission. We work to keep pricing, hours and event information accurate, but the details posted at our front desk govern in the event of a conflict.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect, and the “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our facility or website means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Imperial County, California.
